As evidenced by his experience,
Marc H. Cohen is dedicated to the service of families in need
of legal resources. He completed a thesis in law school on domestic
violence laws and is steadfast in representing clients who have the best
interest of their children in mind. He is well versed on many women's
and children's issues as well as father's rights. Mr. Cohen has worked with
many parents who are determined to be involved and take responsibility
for their families, in the face of difficult circumstances.

| Experience | |||
| Marc H. Cohen has practiced as an attorney since 2001. He was the primary marital and family law attorney at Marcus and Marcus, P.A. from August 2001 to December 2005. In the firm he also practiced real property, managed a title company and assisted in the practice of probate. | |||
| He served a two year term (2003-2005) as a Council Member with the Cocoanut Grove Village Council. In this capacity, he was a volunteer who interacted with community members, voicing their concerns to the council and representing residents in front of other city boards. | |||

Marc H. Cohen was also a member of the adjunct faculty at Florida Metropolitan University in Fort Lauderdale. He taught a Civil Procedure course to students in the Legal Secretary / Paralegal program. |

Mr. Cohen served as a certified legal intern for the State of Florida Guardian Ad Litem program. He conducted several trials under attorney supervision, drafted an appellate brief, assisted in preparing witnesses for trial, and drafted legal documents. Previous to his internship, he was a volunteer with the GAL program, representing the needs of abused, neglected, and abandoned children in the foster care system, from 1997 to 2001. |

As a legal intern for the Florida Court Self-Help Project, Marc H. Cohen guided pro se litigants to file and obtain a divorce, modification of divorce, name change, and child custody and support. |

| Mr. Cohen also served as a legal intern at the Office of the State Attorney where he assisted in maintaining and updating files for pending felony cases and in the preparation of cases for trial. | |||

Marc H. Cohen is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar and authorized to practice law in Florida. He is currently a member of the Young Lawyers Division, Marital and Family Law and Real Property sections of the Florida Bar. Mr. Cohen is on the Rules and Forms and Support Issues Committees. He is also a member of the Dade County Bar Association and Chamber South. |

| Marc H. Cohen graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Saint Thomas University School of Law in 1999. In 1996 he earned his Bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami with a major concentration in economics. Mr. Cohen continues to receive legal education in his areas of expertise. | |||
